The purpose of worship is to come into the presence of God to receive His gifts, and to respond with praise and thanksgiving. We receive the gift of life throught he good news of Jesus love and forgiveness. This love and forgiveness is delivered through the teaching and the two sacraments of Baptisma nd the Lord's Supper.
This is Florida! Formal and informal attire are both appropriate at any of our worship services. Come and be welcome!
On Reformation Sunday, we continued our series on the solas with Sola Scriptura, or Scripture Alone. Just as God provided manna for His people in the wilderness and Jesus turned to Scripture when tempted, we are reminded that we depend on God and His promises. Scripture points us to Jesus, the Word made flesh, and the salvation we receive through Him.
God’s Word also shapes how we live and helps us measure what we are taught. As we gather around Christ and His gifts, we celebrate God’s faithfulness and trust that He continues to lead His people closer to Him and to one another.
